The space

CONS:
** This is a tiny place! It's perfect for one person or a couple traveling with a small amount of luggage.
**Outside of Manhattan, on a separate transit system. If you want to pop in and out of a hotel room during the day, this is not ideal for you.
**The studio is in a small building above a laundromat, and the common entrance is a bit ratty looking. We sweep and wash the hallway every week but it's still old!

PROS:
** Totally private studio apartment for maximum two guests sharing one bed. There is no option for more than 2 guests.
**Full (bus small) kitchen where you can prepare your meals.
**Toasty warm in winter and cooled by A/C in summer.
** Super convenient bus system to Manhattan. From our place it's express service, there are no more stops until you reach midtown.

Guest access

Access to entire apartment, not shared with anyone.
We can make arrangements for luggage storage before or after check-in/check-out.

Interaction with guests

I live off site but I'm not too far away, and I'm always available to help.

We have a comprehensive house manual in the apartment so you'll have all of the info that you need.

Other things to note

1) Set of keys that for your stay

2) It's a quiet family neighborhood where tons of people are walking around at night, in the morning, all day. We don't have street people or panhandlers, but we do have lots of young families with strollers and puppies. The streets are well lit and I regularly walk home through the neighborhood even late at night.

3) Best way to get into the city is to follow the detailed info that is in the house manual, but just as an overview, the jitney buses go every 5 minutes (no joke) all day and all night, 24/7, 365 days a year. It's $3 a trip cash, no tickets.

4) We can lend you a visitor parking permit which is required for street parking, but we don't have any reserved parking. We need advance notice to arrange the visitor permit.
